Job Description:
The Opportunity
To join the Global Commercial Services team within Indirect Procurement as the Senior Buyer for Electrification Services on a 6-month contract covering parental leave. This role is part of modern luxury strategy to bring client focused products and services to support our clients in their EV journey.
The role covers responsibility for Home Charging and Energy Services to help deliver a customer first experience when charging a vehicle. Main responsibility will cover contract management to ensure a quality product and service is delivered from order to installation and finally ongoing usage on time and to cost. Working with a supplier base across UK, India & China.
The Buyer will work with our Electrification Services’ product managers based in the UK closely to work through open challenges as we prepare for the launch of our new BEV product lineup.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- A Buyer with 3 years+ experience of buying goods and services
- Experience of working with colleagues across the globe with clear communication skills
- Commercial Awareness and Negotiation skills
- Understand category management principles
- Operational Contract Management experience
- Relationship management - internal and external
- Flexibility and agility to be able to adjust to changing business needs
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Retail Procurement
- Experience of purchasing products and services for end customer use
- CIPS
