Position Description:
Reporting to the Regional Purchasing Manager this role will see you have responsibility for managing the external supply chain from our client’s suppliers.
Responsible for all post sourcing and contract management activities for designated commodities and suppliers within your region.
You will develop and execute key performance indicators across the designated regional suppliers, engaging with stakeholders and specialists within the Purchasing Function as required, ensuring supplier performance to meet our client’s QCDIS requirements.
Skills Required:
- Procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost savings.
- Ability to work independently, results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.
- Experience in implementing and delivering procurement strategy with the focus on total value chain delivery.
Experience / Education Required:
- Degree qualified or equivalent procurement experience
Experience Preferred:
MCIPS desirable
Additional Information:
The position is hybrid. 2 days a week (usually Tuesday and Thursday although it can vary) in office with the remaining days spent working from home.
