Job Description:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated Information & Digital Technology (IDT) Programme Manager and will be an integral member of the IDT Transformation Office Team. The individual will bring a vast experience managing and monitoring large and complex transformation programmes, with strategic mindset and ability to challenge priorities, design and implement effective programme governance and bring best-in-class methods and techniques to guarantee delivery excellence. The candidate will demonstrate proven track records in implementing Agile at Scale in complex organisations and programmes where speed and value creation are paramount to succeed.
This role will require strong experience in transitioning from traditional project-based approaches to a new product-led operating model where the teams are entrusted to resolve customer-centric problems via Lean and Agile practices. The successful candidate will bring a strong financial and business acumen as well as results-oriented mindset, which will enable to establish clear Key Performance Indicators and quality standards impacting the end-to-end life cycle of the programme – from ideas conception to benefits realisation.
The role will maintain a strategic view over the transformation portfolio, reviewing and developing the framework for implementing cost effective and value driven portfolio epics of the large-scale change, by conceiving, maintaining and communicating a vision of the outcome of our client's IDT Strategy.
This role has accountability for overseeing and ensuring the IDT strategy is executed efficiently and remains on target during execution, ensuring benefits are realised. Planning ahead will be critical so the IDT Transformation Office has a cohesive and consolidated view of next priorities, with a mid/longer-term vision. This will be achieved by a structured governance in place and clear operating plans fed into the Integrated Business Plans at Enterprise level, which will be reviewed and re-shaped during ABR / QBR cadences in place.

Key Deliverables:
- Leads and manage the successful delivery of our client's IDT portfolio (500+ programmes & projects).
- Define and develop a new Product-led Operating Model to support value creation at Enterprise level. Accountable for the identification, planning and co-ordination of a portfolio of change epics, ensuring finances, priorities, interdependencies and resources are managed effectively.
- To act as the day-to-day contact in Transformation office to ensure successful portfolio delivery.
- Liaise with Stakeholders/peers to ensure approved IDT programmes are planned and designed to standardised governance to assure successfully delivery.
- Providing Portfolio Leadership for IDT programmes, projects and products.
- Proactively monitor the portfolio’s health through the resolution of interdependencies, risks and issues/blockers and initiate corrective action where required.
- Develop and implement the portfolio governance framework.
- Manage the portfolio’s budget by monitoring and reporting costs against benefits, in liaison with IDT Operations and Finance.
- Works upstream with IDT Domain Directors and other Senior Stakeholders / Product Managers to understand proposals in the pipeline and ensure smooth transition into a new epic and capabilities within the portfolio.
- Managing communications with Stakeholders.
- Report progress of the portfolio through regular governance forums to Senior Stakeholders - Portfolio performance (cost, timing, resources, deliverables, benefits realised).
- Mature existing Lifecycle Value Management Process and Report on status of value delivery to Senior
Stakeholder.
- Develop central KPI tracking dashboard for IDT operations across the department.
- Act as IDT SPOC for Enterprise Non-Product Investment Committee.
- Chair monthly service delivery review forums with Key Partners and Manage escalations as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience managing a complex portfolio of IDT transformation projects with track record of delivery.
- Proven experience of complex Stakeholder Management, managing multiple Stakeholders with different views.
