Job Description:
The role is for a Senior Programme Planner who will be responsible for the delivery of Bespoke Vehicle Programmes.
Skills Required:
- Highly driven individual with proven project management, communication and leadership skills, able to integrate and act as pivotal player within a cross functional team to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Previous evidence of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risk management.
- Experience of PCDS and conversant with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
Skills Preferred:
- Responsible for the creation of Programme Plans (VPF) from initial concept to Job 1, including clear communication of gateway timing.
- Responsible for alignment of VP Programmes with Core Vehicle Programmes.
- Responsible for the detail of the programme deliverable status to ensure credibility of status reporting.
- Responsible for PDL Authorship.
- Knowledge of our client's PDL System is advantageous.
- Support the delivery of all programme cost targets including, total delivered cost, resource, tooling and facility upgrades.
- Support the integration of VP Programmes into the core vehicle delivery timing.
- Support look back activities capturing all lessons learnt to ensure the success of future programme delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining Risk Register to ensure management of mitigation plans by Stakeholders.
- Report programme health through metrics, risks and issues and propose corrective action where required.
- Responsible for generating timing change material to support the deferral process.
- Support deliverables and timing through Programme Central as required.
- Support overall integrity and impartiality towards the delivery of key programme milestones.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their Line Manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time-to-time.
Experience Required:
- A degree qualified candidate is preferred although relevant experience will be taken into account.
Experience Preferred:
- Understanding of Bespoke Delivery Processes.
- Understanding a Material Engineering credibility within the programme planning environment and ability to influence others CCDS.
- Programme Central experience preferred.
