Description:
Lighting Electronics Hardware Development Lead would be responsible for the development of the electrical and electronics within Interior and Exterior Lighting Products. The candidate will ensure that the lighting products meet all requirements to our client's standards following common processes such as Device Transmittals, GRADE and EMC for Lighting Components. Provide support to quality related projects and the overall lighting body of knowledge with respect to electrical and electronics.
Skills Required:
- Automotive Electronic Hardware Design and Development.
- Development of Electronic Circuits.
- Development of PCB Designs and Layouts.
Experience Required:
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in designing and developing hardware electronics to deliver on products that meet customer requirement.
- Automotive electronics development experience including developing Block Diagrams, detailed Circuit Schematics, generating Bill of Materials, PCB Design and Layouts.
- Excellent communication, time-management and Team working skills.
Experience Preferred:
- Lighting electronics development experience at a Tier 1 or other OEM is desirable.
- Experience of the Agile way of working is desirable but not essential.
