Location: Wolverhampton

Rate: £23.69 ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £18.15 ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (26 weeks)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Description:

This opportunity is for a Manufacturing Systems Processes Specialist in the Manufacturing Business Office and Manufacturing Systems Team.
 
The Manufacturing Business Office is responsible for developing the manufacturing business processes for deployment across our client's global manufacturing footprint, and for the implementation of these business processes it is required to ensure effective IT-enabled Systems.
 
The purpose of this role is to work and collaborate with business stakeholders in gathering requirements for systems and translating those into tangible, working solutions in partnerships with our digital partners. This role will be to specifically focus on our Propulsion Transformation at our plant in Wolverhampton and the introduction of some key programmes.

Skills Required:
  • Process mapping and requirement gathering SAP knowledge.
  • Competent user Manufacturing Powertrain or Propulsion experience.
Experience Required:
  • Relevant previous experience in Business Processes.
  • Working knowledge preferable in any of SAP/MES/FLAGS and any other Legacy Systems.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing processes, and ability to see the big picture.
  • Experience of collaboration cross functional team working.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Sets high standards for written materials and diligently follows them personally and holds others to account to achieve.
  • Support business initiatives utilizing Project Management expertise.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Serve as the conduit between the business units or departments and Digital Teams through which requirements flow.
  • Liaise between the Business, Technology Teams and Support Teams.
  • Good understanding of Project Management Lifecycle.
  • Confidence to positively challenge to get the right and most effective outcome for the business.

Experience Preferred:
  • Working experience in an operational or manufacturing business.
  • Advanced knowledge of key business systems and processes, e.g., quality tools and techniques.
  • IT skills, with a strong knowledge of process flow diagrams.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience of working with offshore service providers.
  • Working knowledge of MES processes and associated master data.

Note: Required to have a full UK driving licence and be fully mobile.
