Job Title: Senior Project Analyst (Supply Chain)

Location: Gaydon

Rate: £35.50 ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £26.93 ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (51 weeks)

Hours: 37 hours per week contract however in certain weeks, they may be required to do 40 hours

Working as a Senior Project Analyst within the Supply Chain Operations Development Team, the candidate will be leading the Operations and Logistics Teams through the digital transformation, delivering products and services that drive competitive advantage and efficiency by reducing costs, improving delivery performance, creating value and driving profitable growth for the teams.
Candidate will be leading the end-to-end implementation of data analytics and digital tools within the Logistics Operations, using data to deliver business improvements and create value. Including the project management of significant and complex change programmes across the Operations and Logistics Team working with a diverse range of stakeholders. The candidate will manage this technology-enabled change, drawing on Supply Chain and Logistics domain knowledge and data & analytics expertise. A customer first mindset is paramount, and candidate will always ensure that the products delivered are tailored to the needs of stakeholders.

Skills Required:
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst / Project Engineer in the Supply Chain / Logistics Sector.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Logistics Systems including MRP / ERP, Warehouse Management and Master Data Management.
  • Able to conduct detailed Business Process Mapping / analysis and identify improvement opportunities, supported by data.
Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
  • Educated to degree level (STEM subjects preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the use of Lean and Agile business improvement techniques.
  • Experience of defining operational processes, business capabilities or IT requirements.
  • Experience in the use of Data and Analytics Tools and processes and confident working with disparate data sources (structured and unstructured).
  • Strong across the Office 365 technology stack (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience or knowledge of Project Management or supporting projects in a complex environment.
  • Experience or knowledge of driving data driven process improvement activities.
  • Ability to work independently, plan and prioritise varying workload and demands.
  • Good networking, communication, influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience Preferred:
  • Experience of Automotive Logistics / Manufacturing Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with SAP data structures.
  • Previous experience of one or more cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform preferred.).
  • Data exploration / visualisation with Tableau (preferred), Looker, Power BI etc.
  • Proficient in SQL and a programming language (Python preferred).
  • Awareness or experience of Agile Project Management Tools (Atlassian toolkit: Jira, Confluence etc.).
  • Proven people management, strong leadership and decision making.
  • Experience in leading projects in a matrix organisations and environment with cross functional working.

Essential Personal Profile:
  • Experience of dealing with a fast-paced environment will mean that the candidate will be comfortable challenging with influencing and engagement skills.
  • A passion for supply chain.
  • An analytical mind set with the ability to multitask.
  • A good communicator, comfortable with presenting complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with strategic vision.
 Additional Information:
Note: This job is a HYBRID, flexible, remote team working and travel to sites as required.
